St Joseph's is a Voluntary Aided Catholic Primary School and we are a part of the Blessed Holy Family Catholic Academy Trust and the Diocese of Westminster. 

Religious Education is the core of the core at St Joseph’s. We devote 10% of curriculum time to the teaching of RE and follow the ‘Come and See' scheme of work from Nursery to Year 6. We also explore where God is in our whole curriculum. Our faith permeates all that we do. It is the foundation of our school.

Celebration of the Word takes place daily. We have a whole school assembly once a week, a key stage singing assembly once a week, a teacher led Celebration of the Word in class once a week and two child led class Celebrations a week. We are blessed to have Fr Frank from St Joseph’s Church who celebrates mass with us regularly throughout the year. He is a welcomed, regular visitor and welcomes us to church where we attend mass. Prayer plays such an important part in our school. Our children have every opportunity to pray collectively and individually.
