Governors
The Governing Body has a vital role to play in making sure that every child receives the best possible education.We do this by ensuring that:-
- the vision, ethos and strategic direction of the school are clearlydefined;
- the Headteacher performs his responsibilities for the educational performance of the school
- the school’s financial resources are used properly and effectively
St Joseph’s Governing Body is made up of foundation governors (appointed by the Diocese of Westminster), parents (elected by parents), the Headteacher, staff (elected by school staff), a governor appointed by the Local Authority and co-opted governors (appointed by the Governing Body for their specific skills and expertise).
