Data Protection and GDPR Compliance

Our school processes personal data relating to parents, pupils, staff, governors, visitors and others, and therefore is a data controller. The school is registered as a data controller with the ICO.

Our school aims to ensure that all personal data collected is collected, stored and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR May 2018) and the expected provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018) as set out in the Data Protection Bill.

 Under data protection law, individuals have a right to be informed about how the school uses any personal data that we hold about them. We comply with this right by providing ‘privacy notices’ to individuals where we are processing their personal data. Please see privacy notices below.
