Online Learning Resources



DB Primary is a web based educational tool which can be accessed at home.  It links to a range of subjects and topics which are being covered at school, and can be used to aid your child’s learning. For the children it has a collection of games, forums and resources to use. For Parents it has a Year group page where you will find Important dates, photos of special events or trips, songs to learn for assemblies as well as other useful information for parents. Bug Club

Bug club is an online school reading programme. Bug Club’s online reading world aims to help children improve their reading skills at school and at home with exciting online  books and rewards. It has been designed to motivate children so that they get the most out of reading each book and want to read more. We allocate books to match their reading levels once a half term. The children have access to a range of books to read and answer questions about. We ask that the children regularly access bug club to read extra books to help with their reading skills. MyMaths is a web-based maths learning program that integrates home and school learning via the internet. It is one of the world’s most used educational websites. As an online learning resource it is in line with the next generation in learning. Activities on MyMaths can be set by the teacher to match class work and it also allows opportunities for the children to practise their maths skills in a range of areas.  MyMaths is used by children in Years 3-6. Purple Mash 

Purple Mash is an award winning website from 2simple. Using Purple Mash children can enhance their Computing skills in a cross curriculuar way at School and Home. Purple Mash is used in a variety of ways at the school including creating a picture, graph, newsletter, reading stories, coding, playing educational games and much more. The  children use Purple Mash at school and save their work online. The children can then access this work at school or at home to finish any work or just share it with their familes.
